What is right to us and what some think is alright

April 29, 2010

Some do that which they believe to be right in their heart while not doing those things they see as being wrong, others do that which they themselves see as alright to do because they can get by with it. I would  rather be wrong doing that which i believe to be right in my heart then to follow along the kind of thinking of others which lead us to do things because we think that it is ok to do them because we can get by with doing it.

Some people do not want to make waves and go along with the status quo. Others will stand up for what they believe is right. So maybe it is not entirely so much about being right or wrong but in how some are either unyielding in their righteousnes  or maybe refuse to be talked down to or to be made to look bad.  The Bible says for us to put one another first and to love thy nieghbor as they self. But it is evident that some do not think very highly of themselves as far as self respect is concerned but might have plenty of pride and arrogance to go around. Humility is a quality that not all people share and others seem to have more then enough.

Questions, Questions, Questions

February 23, 2010

Questions were not meant to be a thing to hound us for information but to teach us how to think in regards to what we have done or what we are planning to do.

If you have ever been cross examined by an attorney an attorney or a police officer or even a parent in such a way that would make you feel that you were being backed into a corner then you might begin to not like such people and become defensive towards them.

But when somebody is trying to help you by asking the right kinds of questions at the right time then it becomes beneficial to you because these are such questions more for your benefit to help you think and not to collect personal information about you. For these reasons it can seem most difficult to find somebody whom you can confide in.  I am a firm believer that a person should ask permission before they begin to ask certain kinds of questions. Especially if it is not of any real benefit or value to anyone to ask them in the first place, except for getting into somebody elses business. Both on a personal level and a professional level such superficial types questions are not really designed to get at the heart of anything but to cause a distraction to the one being asked and to add to the arsenal of the asker.

Not even the worst things can compare.

February 13, 2010

They say that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. But I have seen those who can survive anything and be all the stronger for it.  The Good Lord forgives us so that we can also for give others because he knows that there is nothing in this world that could even compare to spending all of eternity without him. That is the absolutely worst fate that one could possibly ever have to suffer.

No one really knows what tomorrow will bring, but the hell that some people find them selves going through on this earth just simply was not meant to be. God meant for us to serve him by helping other people. But when we hurt them it is a violation of both God’s will and his Law. Cain feared for his own life before God because of what he did to his own brother. God showed him mercy, the type of mercy that he did not deserve. Cain and his Great Grandson Lamech were both offended by what others did. God knew that we would not be perfect like him so he did create consequences. The kind of consequences that occur both logically and  irradically regardless of what we do to cover our tracks. Somewhere somehow we will get the kind of retribution that God Promised to those w only   sought to kill the  descendents of Cain by their own will, But also those who would commit any such attrocity against their fellow m  . It is a very viscious circle that continues on indefinitely between warring factions and individuals until one of them is big enough to forgive the otherone and put a stop to it once and for all.   Hatred and Ill Will breeds on itself and further isolates us from God’s good graces.

People think that just because there sometimes isn’t any immediate consequences to their sin that they have gotten away with it, but the truth is that many innocent people suffer because of what we do. Jesus is the prime example of someone who was unjustly persecuted for what others had done. Abel was the first in a long line of those who had to pay a price for someone elses misakes.

Drama

February 8, 2010

We create drama in our lives and for ourselves by allowing those things  in our lives that simply do not belong and by allowing others to assume things about us that simply are not true.

There’s a Lesson to Be Learned

February 8, 2010

There is always something to be learned in everything we do. Sometimes we don’t think to find it, but when we can see it then it should be worth noting. Sometimes we just don’t learn things properly because we cannot see the bigger picture. We try to break things down in our mind or on paper as to how they work but if we cannot begin to think in bigger terms then all we will ever know is what other people tell us, or show us. We should be most zealous in our learning, if we are learning the right things. But when our heart is not in it then the greater lesson is lost until such a time that it might return to us. We can learn how to think bigger as well as encourage it in others.

Gremlins In The Gas Tank (debunking the root cause relationship of effect)

February 6, 2010

Safety professionals, (OSHA)  as well as scientists often refer to a Root cause when investigating an accident or incident which damaged property or lead to personal injury.

If a person runs out of gas in their car and caused a traffic jam in the street,  the natural conclusion would be this person forgot or neglected  to put gas in their car thusly causing the traffic jam. Already we can see a story line of events which lead to the traffic jam.  The traffic jam might not of occured if the person had not ran out of gas thusly leading to a probable cause of the traffic jam. But we could continue to see effects from this one person neglecting to make sure he had gas in his tank, which lead to a traffic jam. But what if the traffic jam caused an accident which thusly lead to a death.

The stalled car lead to a traffic jam which lead to an accident which lead to a death.  Maybe the traffic jam, the accident and the death could have been avoided if their had been a police officer on the scene sooner or if someone else had been paying more attention.

Perhaps the car would not have stalled if it had not ran out of gas, and maybe it would not of ran out of gas if it had either been in proper mechanical condition or it had been filled before hand.

There are two viable reasons which lead to the driver not having gas in their car. One is they did not put gas in. two they did put gas in but it ran out.

There are also viable reasons why it would of ran out. The gas gage was not working, or maybe the gas  tank had a hole in it, or perhaps he used more then he normally did that morning when he gunned it trying to beat a train. which lead to a loss of a quarter tank.

Maybe he just didn’t put enough gas in the tank to begin with. This could of been the result of not being able to afford the gas, which would of been the result of not having any money with them. or maybe their wasn’t any gas stations around there.

If he couldn’t put gas in his tank maybe it is because he didnt have any income, he didn’t have any income because he didn’t have a job.

But what the bottom line is that when we allow room for compromise, throw caution to the wind and totally ignore Murphy’s law by not doing things that we should and doing thngs we shoudn’t be doing , this sometimes opens up doors for all kinds of bad thngs, Evil is in itself its own root cause and has no depth that is too deep because like Holiness it is infinite in its source but unlike holiness it is limited unless we allow it in. Once we do it is not a question of what kinds of things ( unexpected) will result but where will it leave us.

In the Image and the presence of God

February 5, 2010

Some people argue that if their really was a god then how could he let suffering to go on as well as death, the truth is that suffering and death are natural consequences of sin.  Just as a pregnancy is often the product or the consequence of procreation.  During the days of Moses up until the days of Jesus,  Mosaic Law was often used to condemn people to death. It was inacted as law just like God instructing Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil or they would surely die. Mosaic Law was meant to confirm this among mankind that if they sin then there will be such consequences. God did not mean for us to go around killing each other for religious reasons but he wanted to instill in us that such actions committed willfully are in direct violation of his will and do carry with them as their reward very serious consequences, up to and including death and ultimately eternal seperation from God’s mercy and grace.

We were meant to make and do the best with what he has given us. And just as their are people who go with out their are also those that continually over indulge themselves in the laviciousness of this world. And Just as their are also those who were born with handicaps their was also those born with exceptional capabilities.

There are people with great handicaps that are able to excel and then there is also people born with all their facilities but are completely helpless. There are also those who were born into affluence that are a shame to their families just like there are those who go from not having anything to great wealth who make their parents very proud.

The closer we get to becoming like God the more we will be scrutinized by others because we are moving closer to the direct presence of God.

Still The Same

February 1, 2010

I have heard many people say in response to who God is,” to them”. God does not change for anyone. He is the same today as he was and as he will always be? It is because of our religious views that we see God as we do. But this may have been taken the wrong way. Because who God is to some is not who God is to others. To some he is their salvation, their refuge, their rest, their council and their Great I Am, among many other things, he can be many things to those who trust in him but To others who have not received his saving grace he is someone whom they call upon in times of trouble, and then when things start going good for them they once again begin to take charge and do what seems right in their own minds according to their own wants, needs and desires. I have discovered that even though i have never really liked religion, I have been very religious in my thinking because of who I believed God to be in my own mind and heart. Jesus once asked his disciples who they thought he was. They also thought to question John the Baptist the same way. So it is not just a question of who we think that God is but who we believe God to be.

18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am? 19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again. 20 He said to them, But whom say you that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. 21 And he straightly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; 22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

The Lord of Host and the Hosts of all living kind

January 31, 2010

No this is not an article about theology. This is an article that might help to offer insight into the origins of life.

People commonly get caught up in the old arguments of which came first? The chicken or the egg. The answer to me is very simple in what I believe. Where it would not be impossible for God to create a chicken to lay the eggs. It simply would not go along with the natural order of all things. I believe that all plants and animals as well as man originated from and in the way that they currently do. The chicken came from an egg and the plant came from a seed. But all seeds and eggs had to of had a host in the first place to produce them. I could just imagine the lord taking a lump of clay in his hand and producing an egg as well as a seed to begin the process of life. But i cannot imagine him doing this several millions of times. But just once.  Probably to produce some kind of plant since plants were created before animals. Then this plant produced many other varieties of plants after its kind and them thusly turning around and producing many other varieties given the climate they were produced in.  That is it then!  life was most definitely produced, life could have only have been produced in form by which it was designed to be created.

If this is the case then each of the little life starts including man began as an infant, God would have had to seen for their care as a babies until they were old enough and strong enough to feed themselves. This is the real question if this is the case, and that is who did God Designate to see to the well being of these little ones.

On the other hand if God did create man as a fully grown human then he would of been able to feed himself as well as perform the functions designated to him by God. But I think that Adam was one of many whom were also known as Adam whom God created but this particular Adam, Whom God took  when he  fully grown and put him in the Garden of Eden.

So Really the only question about creation is this, did all living kind begin in its infant stage? Because if it did begin in its infant stage then there would of had to of been a host to produce them as well as take care of them. The origins of life is truely a great mystery indeed but it wasn’t meant to keep us awake at night nor was it meant to be a subject for such controversial debate. Life was produced as is energy is also produced. But how the first life forms to inhabit this earth was produced remains a mystery!
